When a site asks for space separated key words, the key words need a space instead of a comma.

The same key words entered as space separated key words would be entered like this:

Some social sites or other websites don’t say what kind of key words they want. I was just making an entry in the Cash Flow Forum which was created only about 60 days ago. I had never really looked at the key words before. I just noticed that the key words looked like this:

That was because I entered them as comma separated words and they should have been space separated. The automatic system arranged them alphabetically and took out the commas. When you need space separated key words you should string the words together with hypens so that they stay together, otherwise they are meaningless.

Try searching for Affordable Diet Programs or Natural Weight Loss for Women, or Affordable Natural Weight Loss. These are long tail key words strings that establish what I am really all about on that site. They narrow down the competition considerably making it possible for well-written articles that are optimized for the search engine to find them with valuable content relevant to the key words.

The blog title is the h1 header (How To Build A Website Quick). The subtitle is a h3 headline. It reinforces the key word by repeating it and also presents another key word: search engine optimization. Then the first paragraph reinforces both key words repetitively. Notice how the first header reinforces the title of the article then the key words are repeated naturally through out the first paragraph.

This Is The HTML Code For H3 Headers

On the last webinar we discussed HTML coding. When you are editing your WordPress website as with most website editors you have the choice of working in the visual mode which shows your work as it will look on the site when it is published and you also have the ability to switch to html which stands for: HyperText Mark-up Language

The HTML is code that tells your website what to do.

The first coding that a new WordPress website owner should learn is header tags. There are different sized headings and the search engines look for headlines in a cascading style or CSS (cascading style sheet). The progression is a series of headers or headlines that work together. The blog title is an H1 tag, the title of this post is an H2 tag and the title of this paragraph is an H3 tag. Put the code into your blog posts so that they cascade down from the top. This is the code that you enter to create an h3 headline.<h3>Your H3 Headline</h3>  When you enter that code into your HTML editor (not the visual editor) it will create this headline:

Your headline should indicate and include key words that follow in the paragraph below it. So now you have a cascading style from the blog title to the page title, to the paragraph or section titles and then the words in the paragraphs that follow.

What Is a Hyperlink?

A hyper link is an active link that links to another website or another page within your website. For example this is a hyperlink to my other website, Create A Cash Flow Show. Some direct sales companies do not allow incoming links to their website.  A hyper link would be considered an incoming link and would be in violation of company policy if it is not allowed. Make sure that you know what your companies policy is on hyperlinking before you link to your affiliate site.

Get Business To Your Affiliate Website

You can still get business to your company website although it is not as effective. Whenever you would like to hyperlink and are not allowed the alternative is to put the web address in as a static address in bold like this: www.CreateACashFlowShow.com I always capitalize the beginning of words to make it easier to read. Your reader will have to copy and paste it into their browser. You can even tell them to do that. I would also give them an active link to email you like this: Deb@debbixler.com

Linking Vs Forwarding

The home office will know that you linked to them because of a ping back which is generated every time a site is linked to. If your company has a policy of no linking they will be monitoring it and they will know that you did link to them. A forwarding address that is easy to read and type is not an incoming link.
